Your  journey will begin with a comprehensive body composition analysis and metabolic test that will establish your baseline metabolism and fat composition. The analysis helps us personalize the program to your needs and follow your progress through the program.

Loss or diminished mobility is one of the primary causes of decreasing vitality as well as weight gain with age.  It makes sense that as you become less mobile due to rickety and often painful joint and back pain, your metabolism let alone your zest for life will decrease.  Part of the Med-Health prescription for health believes in optimizing your joint mobility and decreasing joint and back pain through a variety of means, including yoga, exercise, massage, trigger point injections, and shock wave therapy can help you become more active, limber, and pain free.

Decrease Stress and Cortisol Levels

Life in the modern world is increasingly stressful.  Many studies have shown that Americans have become more stressed due to job-related issues, family dynamics, politics, and even social media.  Stress unfortunately increases your cortisol levels.  Cortisol in turn leads to weight retention.  Prolonged stress can even lead to adrenal fatigue.  Part of the Med-Health prescription for health believes in optimizing your ability to decrease stress and improve sleep through a variety of means including exercise, yoga, massage, and supplements such as melatonin and dhea.

Vitamin and Minerals

Some patients can choose to enter one of our yoga programs.  Yoga is an integral part of many of our programs include the weight loss and anti-aging programs.  Joint stiffness and back pain lead to diminished activity.   Yoga has been shown to increase the physical mobility of our patients as well as decreasing back and body pain.
